Find what is saved twice

Point the cleaner at a folder and it will tell you which files are duplicates, which copy is worth keeping, and how much space the rest are taking.

Your files are never uploaded. They are read and compared inside this browser tab. Only short fingerprints, never contents or file paths, are sent to the server to be grouped.

Choose a folder

Subfolders are included. You decide which copy to keep before anything happens.

Near-duplicates are photos that look alike rather than files that are provably identical, so they are listed but not ticked. Look at them before acting on them.

When it can delete, and when it can only tell you

A web page cannot touch a file it was merely shown. Chrome and Edge offer a way to ask for write access to one folder you choose, and where that exists PhoneForge uses it: you pick the folder, grant permission once, and the duplicates are removed for real.

Firefox and Safari have no such thing, so there the cleaner does what it always did and hands you a spreadsheet: delete the rows marked DELETE and keep the rest. Either way nothing is uploaded and nothing goes without you agreeing to it first.
